             ALIVE Newsletter No.100
              Topic
            ALIVE and AVA-net Merge
ALIVE (All Life in a Viable Environment) was established in 1996
to address overall issues affecting animals. In June of the same
year, the 1st ALIVE newsletter was issued in order to keep the public
informed on the issues and to provide accurate information concerning
              the environment and animals.
In 2010, ALIVE gained NPO status, and this year we are celebrating
our 15th anniversary. Also, this month sees the publication of the
100s issue of the ALIVE newsletter. Since its establishment, ALIVE
has worked with its sister organization AVA-net, which is dedicated
to addressing issues related to vivisection and animal experimentation.
AVA-net celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. The latest AVA-net
newsletter is No. 150, which is a good round number to close with.
So we have decided to merge AVA-net and ALIVE during this pivotal
              year.
Over the years, ALIVE and AVA-net have dealt with countless animal
issues, and both organizations have achieved many good results,
which has led to widespread public recognition of our organizations
              and our achievements.
ALIVE would like to sincerely thank everyone who has participated
in and supported our activities up to now. We remain committed to
making tireless efforts toward improving the status of animals and
dealing with animal-related issues including animal experimentation.
Lastly, we extend our appreciation to all our supporters and we
look forward to receiving your further support in future.
